This is our online claims service for reporting trips that you have either cancelled or cut short due to Coronavirus (Covid-19).

Your travel insurance provides cover for cancellation due to the Foreign Commonwealth Office (FCO) advising against travel if you are due to travel in the next 28 days. If you are not due to travel in the next 28 days please do not continue with your claim, as it cannot be processed. Your policy also provides cover for cancellation due to illness, including if you need to self-isolate. Please revisit this site to record your claim when your trip departure date is within 28 days.

If you already started your trip, your travel insurance also provides cover for cutting your trip short due to FCO travel advice against travel or all but essential travel to your destination, providing that advice came into force after your policy started and the trip was booked, whichever is later.

Before we are able to process your claim you must have contacted your travel provider to understand if a refund is available and have evidence that you have done this. There is no time limit for submitting a claim.

If you paid by credit card you may be protected under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and should contact your card issuer for further information. Similarly, if you paid by debit or charge card you should contact your card issuer for advice as you may be able to make a claim under their charge back rules.

Please note that any trips booked on or after 18th March 2020 will not be covered for any claim relating to Coronavirus, as this is now a known event.
